Fifty four parents, family members and friends were served appetizers and a delicious three course meal prepared by our culinary arts program. To cap off the evening, our grade 7/8 drama group presented their comical and musical version of the “Evolved story of Little Red Riding Hood”. It was an enjoyable evening for all. Mission Trip
On March 11th, six students from St. Thomas Aquinas embarked on an unforgettable experience to the Dominican Republic for a Service Trip. They spent 8 days at a local orphanage called Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos in the city of San Pedro de Macrois. Throughout the week the students helped with various projects, such as building an agriculture centre at the orphanage, working in the fields, preparing meals in the kitchen, and helping with the special needs children. The students also had the opportunity to interact with the children, listen to some of their stories and create bonds. Overall, the experience was very impactful and inspired the students.
